WELCOME
On behalf of the Innovation and Technology team, I would like to welcome you to this website.
This blog page is designed to show the work of our team in the Lingnan University course SLP 1101 Community Engagement through Service Learning in Semester 2 of the year period 2019-2020.
Just as the course title indicates, our work is about engaging with society through Service-Learning.
Different from volunteering, internships or part-time jobs, Service-Learning enables students to learn through serving society, with the help of Design Thinking and professional advice.
Student will interview particular stakeholders on the difficulties they encountered, and provide help in the form of conducting community projects.
For this course, we focused on the topic "Urban farming in Hong Kong". In particular, we chose rooftop farmers as the target of our project, in this website, we will provide a thorough explanation of our project, as well as some background information of urban farming in Hong Kong.
We hope this project can help or inspire others on either the way of designed thinking and engage in the community, or develop the virtue of consideration towards the communities in need.

To start with, we have this main menu slide, this menu will always be at the top of all the pages, and the menu bar at the top can show all the tabs and pages, if you want to find a particular page, you can search it through this menu
And then we have the anchor menu, which will always be at the left hand side of the page, it is used to help you move around different sections of a page if you need to, the section your are currently at will always be the one highlighted with deeper color in the anchor menu
Lastly, this website will have interactive features in different pages, for example, slides, videos, or some simple interaction like what is shown in our team introduction, so simply move your cursor on the arrows, images or buttons to see how they will move and show you!
